LOST is a show that lets the watcher think. Heroes is not.

Everyone should listen to 'The Suspension Bridge at IguazĂș Falls' by Tortoise and 'What?' by A Tribe Called Quest. I am not watching LOST tonight so I really hope nobody spoils it for me.

Nicole has inspired me to start writing in my blog again. Everybody should read her blog: afarmhousewedding.blogspot.com. It is the best blog and Nicole is the best blogger.
This video is seriously good, and I never really watch music videos. Except that "Single Ladies" Beyonce song, which I watch with my mom. My mom is awesome.

Paris: Day Three

I really dropped the ball on this one. But better late than never, right?

I'm currently in Paris, spending my third day alone wandering near the Bastille and Victor Hugo's house. I've been walking for a couple hours now and I stumbled across a very nice park with full internet connection for free. Apparently Paris provides free wi-fi hotspots around the city. Pretty glad I discovered this, since my next hotel apparently charges 8 euro per hour to use the web. My dad informed me that the euro is only $1.26 or something around there, which is great, and I should probably start keeping better track of that. But I figure I'm going to spend the money anyway, and there is not much I can do about the currency exchange. I feel much better about the city today, after experiencing a couple of lonely days after leaving Jeremy at the Glaz'Art venue in Northern Paris. French people LOVE post-rock.

The weather is absolutely perfect for me right now. It's cold enough that I must wear a couple layers, but not so cold that my nose is running everywhere. And leaves are changing and falling and even though the sky is grey, it adds to the seasonal feel. I don't have my cord to put the pictures up that I've taken so far in Paris, so I took a couple with my laptop. They aren't exactly great quality, but I've got a bunch of pictures that will be on the web on Tuesday.

I'm off to go to Notre Dame, and I REALLY wish I could drop my stuff off at my hotel before that, but check-in is not until 3pm. I found my hotel and I immediately felt a lot better about it than my other hotel near the Moulin Rouge. Hopefully the walls will be thicker in this one. And I'm glad there are no prostitutes in the area, as far as I can tell.
